Las mejores 10 aplicaciones para editar fotos

Nowadays, photo editing is essential for everything you do online. We often have the need or obligation to upload content to our social networks, whether for entertainment or work, so we can't wait to be in front of a computer to edit them, and that's when we need to use the most powerful tool we have at hand: a cell phone.

At GSMPRO, we tested and analyzed the top 10 apps that make editing images on your phone easier, and here they are. We'd like to inform you that most of them have a paid version that unlocks many items and tools that will give you much better results than the free versions.

1. Snapseed

Snapseed is one of the most well-known apps, and for good reason. It's an app with very powerful editing tools and many adjustment options.

If you just want one app on your phone, Snapseed is probably a good option… though keep in mind that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Precisely because it has so many options and tools, and there's so much you can do with it, it can be a bit confusing if you don't quite know what you want to achieve with your edit, and you might end up over-editing the photo. Also, in my opinion, the app's interface isn't the best.

2. Adobe Photoshop Express

Honestly, one of my favorites . It has everything I could want in an editing app: exposure adjustment, contrast, tone curve, color, plus some really cool tools like zone adjustments (with this, you can change the exposure, contrast, and color of just one area of the photo, or you can correct and retouch specific areas).

It also includes several presets or filters that can help you achieve a specific style with a touch, and you can also save your own adjustment sequences and create your own filters.

3. Adobe Lightroom

It's also one of my favorites because I can sync the photos from here with those on my computer . But, anyway, if you don't have Lightroom Desktop, you can also use it to import and edit photos from your phone.

The main difference with Photoshop is that with Lightroom you can manage and organize your photo library , grouping them into collections, assigning them ratings, tags, etc. If you're looking for an app that not only has powerful editing tools but also helps you manage your photo library, this could be an excellent option.

4. VSCO Cam

One of the most popular apps, especially for its filters. Many of the photos we see on Instagram with those trendy matte looks and muted colors are edited with VSCO.

Although it has the basic tools for editing photos (exposure, contrast, brightness, saturation, etc.) its strength really lies in the filters inspired by classic photographic films .

5. Afterlight

This app is also one of my favorites. It has traditional editing tools (including curves) and tons of filters, but what I use it for most is adding light filters to my photos .

You can also do other things with it, like double exposure, adding textures (scratches, dust, etc.) to give photos a vintage look, and many other things I don't usually use. It's undoubtedly one of the most versatile and powerful apps you can own.

6. A Color Story

A simple and powerful app, ideal if you're just starting out with editing photos on your phone.

In addition to the photo editing tools for correcting light, color, and contrast, it has several filters that will be very useful if you like a very bright, high-contrast style in your images. It also has a collection of light flares that I really like to use in certain photos.

7. Lens Distortions

If you're familiar with my Instagram account, you'll know I like images with light leaks or sparkles, like this one or this one . Sometimes this effect is achieved naturally in the camera, at the moment of taking the photo (for example, it was like that here ), but other times we need a little help.

It's not good to overuse these effects, but sometimes they really help enhance the mood of the photo... and this app does just that: it offers a series of light flashes and textures to add to our photos . Therefore, it's best used once you've already edited your photo with another app, and just to add the finishing touch.

8. Adobe Photoshop Fix

This is also a specialized app: in this case, what you can do with it is retouch and remove objects from photos .

This is something you can do with Photoshop, for example, but the results aren't the same. This app only does correction and retouching, and it does it very, very well.

And in this case, I recommend using it as a first step in your photo editing process, before making any other lighting or color adjustments.

If you're familiar with my Instagram account, you'll know I like images with light leaks or sparkles, like this one or this one . Sometimes this effect is achieved naturally in the camera, at the moment of taking the photo (for example, it was like that here ), but other times we need a little help.

It's not good to overuse these effects, but sometimes they really help to enhance the atmosphere of the photo... and this app does just that: it offers us a series of light flashes and textures to add to our photos . Therefore, it is to be used once you have already edited your photo with another application, and only to give it the...

9. Polarr

This app also has all the editing tools you'd expect, but I'm including it here primarily for its filters . It has tons of them, all of them good quality, and with styles a little different from the more popular VSCO ones.

You can also download the desktop app, which is also free.

10. Enlight

I'm leaving this one for last because, although it's a very powerful app, it's only available for iOS, and I've tried to include apps for Android in my selection as well.

Anyway, I can't help but mention it because it's an app with a lot of tools, and its strong point is photo editing . You can also make general adjustments, but for that, I prefer the others we've seen here.

How are you? I hope you can get the results you're looking for with one of these options. Also, remember that this list is based on our needs and conditions; you may have better options.

If you use any of them, please tell us and let us know how it goes for you.
